Joe works primarily in Product R&D, where he focuses on valuation analytics, machine learning, and GIS technologies within the company’s commercial cloud platform. Most recently, he spearheaded Tyler’s AI Modeling and Statistics application, which combines traditional and AI approaches to valuation modeling. He has worked on valuation and tax projects with leading jurisdictions such as New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston, Calgary, Hennepin County, and the British Columbia Assessment Authority, along with others across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Joe earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from Boston University and Georgia Tech. He continued his research as a visiting researcher at Delft University of Technology and as a guest scientist at Siemens Corporate Research and Development in Munich.
